Housing /Strkovec, Bratislava

Housing/multipurpose complex is located on the northern shore of lake Strkovec, site now occupied by Hotel Junior. The concept is based on the idea of urban park that circuits the lake. To maintain privacy the park splits in two levels. The walking track around the lake descends thus creating the quay with restaurants, fitness facility, cafe on the water. With the recreational functions located on the lower level the upper level is used predominantly by the dwellers. Shape of the objects is generated by the ambition to make as many facades as possible face the lake while not denying the views of the lake from existing structure on Drienova Street. BEEF
